Let's talk Writers!
« on: November 18, 2009, 12:35:20 PM »
Okay so I'm bored between class so I thought I'd make another pointless poll and topic.  So who's your favorite Bee Train writer?  For the sake of simplicity I'm pretty much limiting to writers whom I've seen remain active screenwriters in the industry  In addition who you think should write the next series?  Of course your not limited to the poll, I mean I even threw my self in there  :P

though I must admit my bias lies in Kuroda, I think he's the stronger writer of the bunch in the poll.

I voted for Ito and Yokote, first and foremost. Their work is what got me hooked in the first place. ;D

Then I voted for Kuroda. His work for Madlax and Phantom was just brilliant. And....I'm gonna attempt to predict the future and vote for you in advance. :D

Any particular reason my Tsukimura (Noir) isn't on this list?

As I said, to keep the poll simple I remained with only active screenwriters.  Tsukimura hasn't really written anything in years.

 Definitely Yosuke Kuroda! ^^ He was written enough titles to make it obvious to anyone that he's a pretty reliable and experienced screenwriter. But regardless of quantity, a few of his works are among my personal favorites, not just the obvious  "Madlax" and "Phantom" but "Honey and Clover" in particular, which is also on my top 20 and which I highly recommend to everyone! :)

Well he did the last UFO Princess Valkyrie sequel as recent as 2006...hardly notable but still. I don't think it would affect my voting, so I guess it doesn't matter.

That's cool! I don't suppose any of his novels have been translated to English? ^^;

Same thing seems to have happened with Miu Kawasaki whom handled the writing for Roots.  She's shifted mostly to novels.

Also, woah, BLAST FROM THE PAST to see an old topic of mine from 10 years ago!
