Koichi Mashimo's sci-fi comedy classic is finally getting its long-promised Blu Ray release stateside! I've been waiting impatiently for this since it first got announced in 2018. In addition to the series the OVAs are also being released; I'm cooler to those but plenty of people love 'em.

It's not a Bee Train show, but it's still one of Mashimo's best. It's an absolutely hilarious story about either an idiot or a genius (who's to say?) with the devil's own luck commanding a ship as intergalactic war looms. It's not just funny but has a surprising amount of heart and a lovely soundtrack.

Oh man, that looks great, though I feel like I should sample it before buying. Been meaning to do that for years... ^^;
