"Mimiru, hang on!", noticing your distress, Tsukasa immediately raises his staff and casts a cure spell on you. You feel a warm energy around you.
The effects of the poison have been lifted. You might have lost some of your health, but you are back on your feet and able to fight again.
You notice Elenore has managed to mortally wound Sora, but now she's in trouble. Her hand is stuck in him. She's unable to escape.
He's vulnerable. If you act fast you might be able to go for his head before he gets to Elenore. You have to act fast!

[Kapenguin]

"Whew...thanks, Tsukasa. You're the best."

Feeling fully rejuvenated, I ready my sword and lunge at Sora, putting all the force that I can build into a single swing, aimed at his neck.

"YOU'RE DONE, ASSHOLE!!!"

[MartAnimE]

[Mimiru]

You swiftly strike Sora's neck with a powerful, precise swing. His severed head goes flying and lands a few feet away from you and Elenore.
A fountain of purple blood erupts from his neck stump. He has ceased all movement. The blood stops flowing. His body falls dead on the floor.

[MartAnimE]

[Elenore]

Just as you thought you might get in trouble, Mimiru jumps in to assist you in finishing off this nasty monster.
She cuts off his head, stopping him before he could harm you. Thanks to your team work you have both defeated Sora.
With a little more time and effort you are able to free your hand. You are a bit tired from the fight, but otherwise unharmed.

[Pulsen]

[Elenore]

You stab him so violently that your blade and your fist go right through him, completely impaling him and destroying his heart. He's severely impaired and dying.
"You... Bitch...", Sora lets out angrily, desperately gasping for air and choking on his own blood. The wound might be fatal, but now your hand is stuck in him.
With his last dying breath, he tries to hold you down with one pincer while throwing his other pincer at your head, determined to take you along with him.

"Thank you. I'm Elenore Baker." I say obviously tired. Then I noticed Margaret and him on the ground. "Mr. Tsukasa, could you please revive Margaret and Mr.Doon."

[Kapenguin]

"Hi. I'm Mimiru. You're a great fighter! So, uh...do you know anything about this place?"

I look down and see Doon on the ground, and then I hear Elenore ask Tsukasa to revive him.

"Aha...I think I'm thinking what you're thinking..."

[MartAnimE]

[Elenore] [Mimiru]

"Thank you, Mimiru, Elenore. For saving my life.", Tsukasa looks at you both and smiles humbly. He throws one last glance at Sora's remains, then looks away in disgust.
"This was... all my fault. I'm so sorry.", he lowers his head and apologizes in a guilty tone, feeling ashamed and somewhat responsible for all this carnage.
He heeds Elenore's request. "Of course, I will revive your friends right away. I couldn't do it in the middle of battle. It could be dangerous for them."
He raises his staff and casts two reviving spells. He looks pretty tired afterwards, casting all these spells must have drained his magic.

Carrossea wakes up first. He sits up and groans softly, rubbing his temple, as if waking up from a rough night.
"Ah geez, I think I had too much to drink last night...", he looks down, noticing the hole and blood stain on his shirt.
"Oh... I died again, didn't I?", he chuckles, somewhat amused at his predicament. "Been there, done that, got the t-shirt..."

Margaret takes a little longer to wake up. She slowly opens her eyes, yawns, blinks a few times. Reluctantly, and clumsily, she musters the energy to sit up.
She stares blankly into space in a dream like state, seemingly unaware of her surroundings. "Hmm... Nope.", she lays down and tries to go back to sleep.

Tsukasa looks at them, somewhat relieved his spells worked, then looks back at Elenore. "I think they'll be fine. They might just feel a little... loopy."

[Pulsen]

I am looking at Margaret and making sure that she's okay. Her being a bit loopy is normal for her. "She's fine, she tends to be that way. Thank you for reviving her."  I have to make sure she doesn't go back to sleep. "This isn't the place to go sleep, Margaret."

[MartAnimE]

[Elenore]

Margaret hears your voice and immediately gets back up. She's definitely awake now. She looks around, alarmed, then back at you.
"We're still in the Maze, aren't we?", she asks in a depressed tone. She lowers her head and clings to you for comfort.

[MartAnimE]

[Mimiru]

Doon looks at Margaret sympathetically, though he knows not to intrude between those two. You get the feeling he genuinely cares, despite his shady nature.
"I could really use a hug too...", Doon announces loudly as he turns to you with a cheeky smile, hoping to ease the tension with a bit of humour.

Tsukasa puts away his staff and leans against a wall, contemplating the dog tags around his neck. He seems tired and lost in thought.

[Kapenguin]

I smile at Elenore's reunion with her friend. I can tell this Margaret means a lot to her. I then turn my attention to Doon, who's just woken up with some oh-so-clever things to say. I put my hand on Tsukasa's arm briefly, reassuring him that I'll tend to him shortly, then I walk over to Doon and kneel down.

"Alright, listen. I'll give you a few minutes to get your bearings, but after that, you're going to tell us what the hell is going on here. No more riddles, no more bullshit. Where in God's name are we?"

[Pulsen]

[Elenore]

Margaret hears your voice and immediately gets back up. She's definitely awake now. She looks around, alarmed, then back at you.
"We're still in the Maze, aren't we?", she asks in a depressed tone. She lowers her head and clings to you for comfort.

"Yes, we're still in the Maze,"  I reply as I hug to give her comfort. Then I turn my attention to what Mimiru is asking Mr.Doon. "If you do know something about this place Mr.Doon I suggest you tell us now."

[MartAnimE]

[Elenore] [Mimiru]

Doon sighs, "You really hurt my feelings...", he replies, with his signature smug smile, mockingly feigning a wounded pride.
"Despite my quick thinking and natural cunning at navigating this place, I have already told you all I know when we first met here."
"I woke up in this Maze, same as all of you. I'm just another pawn in this game.", he chuckles, "You really think I had a hand in any of this?"

"But you need not worry your pretty little heads about it.", he teases, "Between Tsukasa and Margaret, we should have all the keys we need very soon."
"The colours on each of our doors: yellow, orange, brown, purple, pink.", he points to himself, Mimiru, Tsukasa, Elenore, and Margaret, respectively.
"And the colours on those tags." You confirm Tsukasa has the orange, lavender and brown tags. Margaret has the yellow, green and purple.

"We're just missing Margaret's key, the pink one. She knows where it is.", he explains to Mimiru in particular, "We were really close to getting it earlier. We were stopped by a very powerful foe."
"That was on me, a product of my own fears.", he admits, somewhat embarrassed, "But I'm sure if we all stay calm and keep a clear mind we won't get deterred by these entities anymore."

[Pulsen]

I'm a bit annoyed by his casual answer but he does make sense. "I hate to admit it, but Mr.Doon does have a point. But I suggest we find a room so Mr.Tsukasa can recharge his magic in case we need it. Hopefully, we can get Margaret's key and get out of here without any trouble."

[Kapenguin]

"Yeah, agreed," I sigh. "Anyone know whose room is close by?"
