You know you watch too much Noir when:

-You plan on dressing up as all 4 characters; one each  Halloween (two down)

-After you take off your Chloe costume you reenact the hot sprngs scene, complete with kissing and hugging Kirika (that felt funny, seeing as how Kirika was thin air :D )

-You make at least one of all of the following:
 -a Noir fanfic, +1 if yuri (yup +1)
 -a Noir AMV (yup, just now)
 -a Noir caption (yup)
 -a Noir Caption Theater
 -Noir outtakes
 -Noir doujinshi; +3 if the whole thing is colored (was going to until I found an English translation of A Peaceful Day)

Kirika and Chloe, too!  :D

I also dressed as Kirika for an anime convention (my first one) I went to earlier tis year. I still have all the pieces, except the hair coloring and maybe those murderous pink shoes.

 :shock: You sound exactly like me (be afraid...). Except, I dressed up as Kirika twice at two different cons. ...And the only one (outside of my road trip gang and friends) to know that I was dressed up as Kirika... Monica Rial.

You're lucky, then. I went alone and no one (well, maybe one) knew by sight who I was supposed to be. Once I told them, however, a few of them told me how cool Kirika was.

There was an event where a bunch of voice actors gathered in a rom with a bunch of fans, and they answered questions, unedited and unscripted. I asked Chris Patton about sock puppet M&K having a hit ot on them, then I introduced myself to them as Kirika. I told them Noir was at their door, and to make way if they fear the hart of darkness. After the event I got Tiffany Grants autograph!  8) Monica Rial was on a cell phone, too. I would've killed for her to be there.

Oh, I have some more too muches:

-While wearing a pair of sunglasses that look like Mireille's, you look in the mirror, do your bangs like hers, and wish you had long hair (just for a moment...at least I have blonde hair. :D)

-Whenever you see an Altima (a model of car) you think Altena.

-Every time you see or think about the name Mireille, you have an internal debate and furnish extensive proof that it's pronounced "Mirei" or "Mireiyu" and not "Miri-elle".

-You look over your list of French names you printed from the Internet and find Odette and Laurent, but are disappointed that Mireille's not on it.

-Whenever you hear about the Paris riots, you think sbout M&K, and wonder how much money they're making off them.

Heh.  Whenever I see an Altima (either in an ad or getting stuck behind one), I not only think "Altena", but I actually yell out "AAAALLLLL-TEN-AAAAAAA!"

Ahh, good times. Good times.

You know you watch too much Noir when:

- You come up with a name like UNtrue Noir and get your best friend to be your partner in crime (or crime in partner, as we call it)

- You conceal plastic and metal knives in your sleeves, both long and short.

- You considered stealing a set of dessert forks (that were eerily identical to Chloe's) from your best friend. ..even if they did get it from China. :]

- You decide to paint your bare bedroom wall with a Noir collage during summer.. but never start it.

-You play Lunar (I think) for DS and notice that the goddess's name was Althena, and you laugh so much people stare at you.

- You have (some) respect for Ernest Hemingway just because he was quoted in Ep. 1.

- You buy a semi-expensive black turtle neck and cut off the right sleeve for your Chloe cosplay. ( and wear it frequently with a t-shirt over it to school. :] )

- You spend over $100 for your Chloe cosplay because you don't know how to save money.

- You stalk your current object of affection with Noir-worthy subtlety, and actually get away with it.  :lol:

- You even get background information on him/her by asking seemingly irrelevant people.

Aanyway...

You know you've been watching too much Noir when..

- Instead of stating the Pledge of Allegiance, you make that hand thingy the Soldats do, and then state the Pledge to Noir. [been doing this for two years now]

- You watch the Fairly OddParents special, Channel Chasers (hehe..), and notice that when the credits for the Ninja Turtles spoof come up, the music was composed by Athena Something-or-Other. Then you write it down in your Spanish notebook so you wouldn't forget.

- You find out your Science teacher is pregnant and suggest the names* Chloe, Mireille and Altena to her and don't care that it doesn't work with her last name.

- You become friends with someone just because her name is similar to one of the characters.

- You considered filling up your (friend's) Video iPod with all the episodes of Noir (and if there's space.. Madlax).

- You wish you had a Noir-cosplaying posse of your own. Or.. that everyone on this forum could go to an animecon together. :D

* Couldn't use Kirika.. she's Italian. :[

Another by the way.. where are Mirage and Blue Jackal?

Okay, I've got a nerdly-scary one, and I don't think it's so much funny as it's, well... Hrm...

I have my own little home network made up of 4 PCs that I've accumulated over the past couple of years.  I was thinking of what to name them, then I realized just what else there were 4 of...

My older dual-processer machine that I keep in the back room as a server is, of course, "Altena".

I'm typing right now on my sharp, fast, sleek Vaio laptop, which just so happens to rely on the server for all of it's access to the outside world.  Yes, it's "Chloe".

My day-to-day workstation where I have all my "get-work-done" programs, loaded up with memory & a fast processor, is "Mireille".

And my blazing-fast highly specialized media center/gaming rig hooked up to my HDTV is "Kirika".

All of them have the appropriate wallpaper to identify themselves, of course.

Hello, my name is Fellini, and I've watched too much Noir... :P
