Too Much El Cazador
« on: May 01, 2007, 04:32:55 PM »
You know, you've watched too much El Cazador if...

...you say "It's totally L.A.!" instead of "It's really creepy." ::)

Sorry, that's as much as I have right now but feel free to throw in your ideas. ;)

If you think about shooting a stack of plates to see what the result would actually look like.

- you think you can manipulate fire
- you think fire manipulates you
- you believe you can come float back up if you fall of a cliff
- you've fallen for Jodie because of Aya X]
- you write in your assignment pad every Monday "EL CAZADOR ep. __ title:"
- you can't wait for Sexy Jodie to show up!
- L.A.'s creepiness doesn't affect you anymore (well, i'm working on it.)
What am I supposed to say? 'Hi my name is Jodie, I like watching sunsets, taking long walks on the beach, oh and I'm smoking hot'?

You caught yourself thinking "Yes, sir" after deciding on something.

Raise hands if you're guilty of this too.

You've know you've watched too much El Cazador when you notice that you have 5GB of assorted raws and fansubs in your downloads folder, and episode 5 hasn't even been fansubbed yet!

...when picking up your cellular, you have a sudden urge to introduce yourself as "Rosenberg"...

...and, upon hearing a female voice, exclaim "Ah, Miss Hayward!.." ;D

When you manage to screencap this:

2 of my favorite animes of this season all on one screenshot! And more publicity (and potentially more viewers) for El Cazador, because Lucky Star is one of the most popular anime currently airing in Japan. It works well with this scene, because Konata Izumi (the blue-haired character) is an otaku. This screencap is from the latest episode of Lucky Star, and the Newtype issue contains a lot of Lucky Star material (and was referenced in the same episode). To those who have the Newtype issue, does it contain more El Cazador material than just the back cover?

Konata: Kagami, look at how moe Ellis is!
Kagami: *sigh* Why do I even bother?

*AHEM* You ask your dad to go to Taco Bell for you, and when he returns you squeal and start to sing "Taco, taco tacosu..." :D
What am I supposed to say? 'Hi my name is Jodie, I like watching sunsets, taking long walks on the beach, oh and I'm smoking hot'?

LOL! I'll have to remember that next time my parents and I go to Taco Bell.

I just thought of a related Too Much EC:

--When the cashier at Taco Bell asks for your order, you accidentally say tacosu.
Am I supposed to just walk up to someone and say 'Hello. My name's Kirika. I kill people in my spare time'?

Taco taco tacosu has a whole new meaning now. Thanks, Kakashi.

I am such a nut. I committed this major one just now:

-You have such trouble solving a problem you ran into in Firefox that you rack all your friends' brains, and get so frustrated that you consider uninstalling and reinstalling it. Then you realize the source of your problem's stubborness is your refusal to close a window that houses the El Cazador episode you hadn't watched yet.

You see Chappy-sama in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. (she even had the purple ribbon!)

Trying to study History of Art, the "Romanesque" style, and the El Cazador ending theme keeps popping into my head!!! Gah!!! :P

Oh, and LA is no longer the short for Los Angeles, but the name of the creepiest character (male at least ^^; ) ever on a Bee-Train anime!!! :o
