After an eventful week, police reforms were enacted, Miqo'te rights were expanded, the threat of disease has been contained and there is an honest joyful celebration in the streets. This is what is going on when the bar opens on Sunday.

Thankfully the bar and the nearby Chicken Shack weathered the protest/running gunbattle without damage. Though precautions are still mandatory local medical services are getting people vaccinated. The BTC in all its wisdom has instituted a mask off policy providing you have been vaccinated and present your vaccination card at the door. (whatever could go wrong?)

Saturday night has begun

Protests for Miqo'te equality, BLM, against police brutality and defunding of the police have grown in intensity. There have been numerous firefights between protesters and police. The protests and firefights have not hit your area as of yet. Also, Covid-19 makes another appearance prompting the BTC to order all bars to give patrons drinking masks. The BTC is providing the masks. These masks are designed to allow the patron to drink while reducing chances of being infected. BTC has also ordered a No Mask No Entry policy for all non-Lilim.  Val has given the task of handing the masks to Sammi.

Friday night has begun.

Bee Train Role Playing Game / B-TRN-F Wednesday Night 6pm to 2am
« on: March 17, 2020, 11:50:10 PM »
Wednesday night has now started.

As news of B-TRN-F's reopening more regulars keep coming in. The vast majority of them are from the LGBT community as they prefer the bar as opposed to the loud, noisy clubs. On the televisions, a religious hate group speaking against Miqo'te are on the current news circuit even though Boomers and Miqo'te have been around for years and are a recognized group by the UN. In other news, the government is planning on reforming the White Knights and the anime Gundam Robotech Wing has begun to air.

Game has offically started

The bar opens at its usual time of 6 P.M. You occasionally can hear the announcement of arriving or departing trains over the sound of the jukebox. You get a few customers but these don't stay long enough for any real conversation before they have to depart for their trains.

Before reopening: Valkyrie Val speaks with the bartenders

Valkyrie Val:  Okay ladies and gentleman, I know you're all new to this but I know you can do it. So how about you all introduce yourselves and tell something about yourself for team building and all that.

Eleanore (not to be confused with Elenore) : Hi, I'm Eleanore. I'm not exactly a Lilim; I'm the first successful human brain transplant into a Lilim body. My organic body was damaged beyond any hope of healing from a disease so I was given the option of my brain being placed within a modified King class CH1A body and I obviously chose that option. I'm only mentioning this to avoid any awkward questions later on or if some patron mentions it. I look forward to working with you all.

Bee Train Role Playing Game / B-TRN-F sign up and premise.
« on: February 10, 2020, 12:07:39 PM »
Now there's an active interest so we're going another round of our own little bar.

The setting: B-TRN-F is a BTC (British Trademark Council) owned bar. Its designation means it is attached to a train station; even though it's not as big as VA-11 HALL-A it can hold a good amount of people but it has far fewer regulars except those who take the train/subway frequently. B-TRN-F is currently run by "Valkyrie" Val, a bit of a maverick.

How long will this game last?: The game will be broken down into seven nights with each night having its own thread.

How to sign up and what character do I play?:

This time around all players will have two characters: a bartender and a patron. There will be two bartenders on duty per night. You can play both the bartender and the patron on the same night if you feel like it.  Also, you can play as any Bee Train character of age (so yes, you can play as Margaret).

Hope to see you there.

Since there's interest I want to find out how long are people are willing to play.

Bee Train Role Playing Game / Another Bee Train Bar RPG intrest thread
« on: January 31, 2020, 01:52:03 PM »
Since people liked it the first time and expressed an interest in another round. So I'm seeing who would be interested,

Within a ring of fire and steel, a massive metallic draconic monstrosity of magitek stood poised to do battle. Far dwarfing the two women that readied themselves; one was a honey blond Miqo'te dressed in a long red coat and tie contrasting with a white shirt, black pants, and red thigh-high boots. Her blue eyes looking over a crimson tome held in one hand. With a flick of her wrist, a circle appeared briefly in the air before her. "Ifrit-Egi, I summon you!" a creature of vermillion flame half her size suddenly appeared, awaiting her orders. Her companion an AuRa Raen placed herself between and the construct. The AuRa had curved ivory colored horns growing out the side of her head where ears would normally be. Her pale white skin and scales nearly blended with each other contrasted by her blue hair which was cut into a bob. The greens of her ornate suit of armor darkened from the light of the flames. She held a large green shield with a doubled headed ax within a purple triangle and bastard sword that appeared to be made of ice.
"Do you think we can beat it in time?" The Miqo'te asked.
"Just wait for me to attack then sic your Egi on it. If it looks like I don't need much healing, throw bio, miasma, and bane at it. Also if you start getting low on mana cast energy drain on it and please Miss, do try to remember to keep yourself healed."
With that, the AuRa used her Shield Oath ability and charged straight at the construct. With massive blows, she gained its aggro while her companion sent her Egi to fight alongside her. The magitek horror kept most of its attacks on the swordswoman but occasionally delivered burning area of effect attacks which were healed by the Miqo'te's spells. This continued till black and purple orbs appeared connected by twisted purple beams and they were slowly being drawn to each other.
"We're running out of time!" The Miqo'te shouted.
"We can do this! Forget healing and pour every offensive spell you have at it!"
The Miqo'te resummoned her Egi that was defeated earlier in the fight and sicced on the monster. Then she quickly began to cast every spell she could at it. The AuRa ignoring damage as she brought blow after blow upon it. Her wounds were great enough that she was about to collapse but she kept going. Just before the orbs touched the creature was defeated and the "Duty Complete" message appeared and the screen went black.

The pair found themselves fully healed and inside the Quicksand Inn in Ul'dah.
"We did it, Elenore!" The Miqo'te shouted.
"What did I tell you about using our real names here Miss Letitia."
"Oops, sorry Alys."
"Thankfully there's just the NPCs here but you must be careful telling people your real name, Miss."
"Okay. But didn't that fight seem a little tougher than it should've been?"
"The devs made it harder for unsynced and undersized parties to beat boss mobs."
"I was down to less than fifty hit points."
"I was down to single digits myself. Even though we're both in the eighties level wise that was still a tough fight."
"But we did it!"
"Yes, we did Miss."

Margaret looked at the login screen with tears in her eyes as she remembered the last time they played Final Fantasy XIV before they went to Gazth-Sonika. She typed in Elenore's username and password and pressed the enter key. Instead of being allowed in she was greeted by a popup stating that the account was in use. Margaret stared dumbfounded at the screen for a while before deciding on calling customer service. After a few minutes, she was able to get ahold of a representative and then explained the situation only to find out that they couldn't access the account and would do an investigation.
Staring at the screen at a loss again for a few minutes she pondered why she or the representative couldn't access the account. At first, she thought some hacker got in but then the sinking feeling that Enfant may have stolen her account. But it didn't make any sense; if anything her account would've been the one seized. Typing in her username and password she resolved to find whoever was using Elenore's account and make them pay. Margaret Burton couldn't do anything but perhaps Letitia L'una, eighty-fifth level Summoner extraordinaire might be able to.

To be continued...
