[Elenore] *Intelligence* ...no dice. Perhaps he was trying to animate the bones in self defense. Beyond that...most of the other shades you killed appeared to fall upon the ground normally. Perhaps this shade was special in more ways than one.
[Elenore] *Wisdom* there's probably more to the child's skeleton than meets the eye.

[Star] *Appraise* The key is an ordinary block key with two slots. It's use was probably to unlock Kafiz' cuffs but it may have other uses also. Estimated Value: <1 gp.

[Arie] You notice that when casting the armour aside, your hands remain bathed in a shadowy fog for a very brief time, but you don't feel anything except a vague sense of discomfort. The fog soon dissipates and fades into the darkness.

[Kafiz] "So many questions...let us not linger here too long, friends."

[Elenore] Hmmm there's some thing odd about that child's skeleton. I want to check it up before we go on (check skeleton carefully, making int and/or wis as nessecary, give a quick prayer to Mystra for the child)

[Elenore] *Intelligence* the skeleton appears quite ordinary; the bones seem very fresh. The child lay huddled on the ground, the fingers clasping at the knees. There doesn't seem to be any obvious signs of trauma, however.

Elenore begins to pray over the child's skeleton, when suddenly the head twists upwards, and the near arm and hand reach out towards her. The jaw moves slightly but makes no sound.

In the same moment, the visage of a female child appears, clothed in white, aglow with a bright light. Seeming to hold to no particular place, it appears in one corner of the passageway, then, disappearing for a moment, reappearing in another, sometimes overhead, sometimes on the ground, but always appearing as standing erect, and quite still, but for her lips, which move slowly but consistently. Snatches of speech flow through the passage while she is visible, returning to silence while she is gone.


"I," she says, "...I...can you...so cold...can you find?...so cold...please find...the place...find...my rest..."

[Yukiko / Buu] *Listen* You hear something approaching from behind.

[Sam] *Spot* Round the bend, you see the passageway heads straight towards the East Northeast. You think you may see the Statue room ahead.

[Elenore] Did anyone else see that?   That's another thing to add to the list, finding whatever place she was talking about. (Another quick prayer to Mystra)

[Party] You proceed Northeast along the passage. The walls steadily grow brighter and soon, you find yourself again within the room with the statue.

[Kafiz] "It seems we have gone in something of a loop, friends. My lady Yukiko, are we still being followed?"

[Yukiko] *Listen* Whatever it was has not approached further...or is making no sound at all.
[Yukiko] "Nothing..."

[Kafiz] "Well, that's a relief. I don't like my steps being dogged unless it's a friend or a fair lady, in your case both, yes? Anyone feel like trying this on?"

[Party] Looking in Kafiz' direction, you see he grabbed the shade's armour in passing. It retains a hint of darkness to it, as if carrying a shadow with it.

((I'll post a new image tomorrow, but y'all know where you are now. Sorry for the long delay. Now the players are well rested as well as the characters :D ))
