are the girls in this series? Nadie seems 18 at most and Ellis looks to be 15 or less (yet she drives the car sometimes).

Welcome to the forum! As for the ages unless I missed something or missed out on some of the bonus canon material I don't recall their ages being mentioned. I think your estimations are in the ball park. Considering it is Latin America and they are on the lam I don't imagine Ellis will worry if she has a drivers license

Thanks. Do you know what the weapons are called that L.A. uses (that sharp string thing attached to his wrist) and Ricardo's revolver? Interesting weapons
Maybe i should of just made a new thread...

L.A's weapon is a cheesewire or monowire.
As for Ricardo appears to be an old Colt 45 revolver.

Welcome to the forum Jiggyboo! Fell free to create any threads you like. ^^ I agree that Ellis can't be older than 15, I'd give her 14. But Nadie I think seems a bit older than 18. Early twenties or so. Then again, this is anime and characters tend to be younger than you'd expect of them. Mireille from Noir has also been said to be 18 in the series though she looks at least 20 to me.

I just tried some researching on L.A.'s weapon. It really is just used for cutting cheese and hardly used for murder. Wiki also pins it as a "fictional weapon". Plus, you can't do the stuff L.A. does with that thing. Perhaps i'm just looking at the wrong place...
As for Ricardo's revovler, it just seems rather bulky and i couldn't recognize it as a Colt .45

Then it may simply be a case of dramatic license.

Welcome to the forum, JiggyBoo. I think Nadie is older than 16 but Ellis seems 14 but you never know, I guess we can compare her to Cal in Phantom to get an idea perhaps.

You're right about it seeming a bit bulky for a Colt .45, but that could be a quirk of photography - japanese hands are a bit smaller PS - don't worry about going a bit off topic with a thread, it's a small enough forum that all of us read everything, practically

And if you could, that would be largely impractical as a weapon because the first thing you'd do is cut your arms and head off. ^^ However, there is a weapon similar to that called garrote, which is a string used for strangling rather than cutting. It is usually hidden in a watch or similar devices worn on the wrist.

Now thats the weapon i was looking for. Thanks
Though, garroting seems outdated and hardly used. Let me see if you can buy it, the hidden style from Noir (that guy's watch).

Okay, apparently it is extremely hard to find. The one i was looking for was first a fictional gadget made popular in "From Russia with love".
A few replicas were probably made but never sold commercially it seems. It looks practical to me, a lot more hidden than a knife. Actually, i'm quite surprised it isn't in a videogame yet.
