Topic: Dvd releases, Info and contents.

Since the first disk is already out, I thought I'd start this thread for release dates and and any info people have on the disks.

Disk 2 comes out 8/22

Disk 1 with box came with nothing other than a box and the disk, but the dvd itself contained many character design pictures. 4 of ellis, 6 of nadi, 4 of jodie, 3 of douglas, 2 of ricardo, 1 of liliro and 4 of l.a. There were also a good number of characters, weapons and vehicle design pictures. They are no where online. Untill i spent $60 on the dvd and box and uploaded them to my site. Click on the scrolling picture in my signurature, followed by gallery then character design for all pictures. Your welcome.

I wish they were scans. Just screenshots, but scans will be up soon. There's also a screenshot from the end of epi 2 that wasn't on tv tokyo that i put up in the gallery. liliro's so cute.

When is the series coming over to the US? Is there any information on that? Maybe I missed it.

I don't see any Fellini post about it, so it's unfortunately probably safe to say it isn't even licensed yet.

Sadly, no word or rumor or nuthin'.

Occasionally, a Google search for "El Cazador licensed" will cross my referrer logs, and now and then one of those would be from Houston (home of ADV), but considering the issues the industry is having -- and ADV apparently losing (or giving up) Gurren Lagaan -- the likelyhood of a title that didn't quite generate the buzz that it's spiritual predecessors did (and the rumors that MADLAX didn't really do very well in sales) is probably not on the list.

Plus there's the "dude, she's 14" problem...

yes, A.D.V. is a M.E.S.S. (I'm not sure what that stands for, but I'm sure it's something icky  and very un-Cazador-esque). But if situations change, I'm sure Fellini'll be one of the first to know

So there's a chance it won't even come out in the US? That would kind of suck. I mean it's not like I can't see the episodes, but I really like having a hard copy of all the animes I watch. ^_^

Same here, I make it a point to buy series I've enjoyed. Not being able to complete my Bee Train Girls With Guns collection is an unpleasant thought. I try to comfort myself by seeing the trailers of garbage that got licensed and released and thinking, "Hey, if that crap can get out on DVD in America, surely there's room for li'l ol' Cazzy..."

 I think it should definitely be ADV because they own Noir and Madlax. All chapters of a trilogy should logically be licensed by the same company! Also, El Cazador sort of "advertises" the previous chapters of the trilogy, so it makes sense from a commercial point of view too!
