If i get it imported how do I watch it with those region codes on there? -WOLF- (pacing his cage)It's actually pretty simple: most stand-alone DVD players have "secret" remote control codes that allow you to modify the region code, even allowing you to make your player code-free. Just google it. Also, while it is not possible from Windows to watch DVDs from a different region without changing the region on the DVD drive itself (you can do this only a couple of times before it's permanent), Linux tends to ignore such limitations at all and makes everything run in any virtually any way imaginable. You can even copy the whole DVD to a new one with only three commands, getting rid of region codes entirely. EDIT: Oh and before you start telling me: I know it is illegal to copy copy-protected DVDs. However I say if you paid for the DVD and for having it imported AND the DVD is not available in your region at all AND you are only using it for yourself there is no shame in doing so.
