Make a backup of all your data and let me work something out okay? I'd rather not see your site go down for good. Edit: okay your new & shiny virtual server is up and running now. Check your e-mails.   .... I don't know what to say. Thank you so much. I want to pay you back somehow. I'll mess with all that after I get everything settled down and maybe get Internet access at home (I'm moving right now). My new furniture was supposed to be delivered today but it wasn't. I even suspect why: they were supposed to call me in advance but they mistyped my phone number (missed a 1), and so they probably decided not to deliver anything. Which is BS because my address is correct and I was there the whole time. Now because of one shitty digit, I am afraid I gotta wait another week for a freaking bed.

[Bulmafox]: I saw him a few hours later and he said he'd gotten sidetracked by other stuff

almost right upon a couple of men who were walking dogs
[Bulmafox]: I turned around and briskly walked away, and hid in a storefront alcove

[Bulmafox]: They had to convince me 4 or 5 times that the dogs don't bite and that they're just
puppies before I would come out and start walking again

[Bulmafox]: No, leashed dogs
[MartAnimE]: if they're puppies and on a leash I'm sure you'd be safe
[Bulmafox]: They were pretty big t obe puppies
[Bulmafox]: They're puppies about as much as Farah is one
[MartAnimE]: large breeds can be medium sized puppies
[MartAnimE]: in any case, they were on a leash

[MartAnimE]: so you'd be out of reach

[Bulmafox]: Because I was in the leashes' range

[Bulmafox]: And then he told me he liked my drawings
[Bulmafox]: So that had me racking my brain about whetehr he saw my DA page or not
[MartAnimE]: what drawings did he mean?
[Bulmafox]: And in the meantime, he said something about stars in the night and walks on the beach
[Bulmafox]: I'm not sure if he was talking about his interests, or if those are the drawings he thinks he
saw
[Bulmafox]: And I responded awkwardly with something like that I haven't drawn those, or rather that
I'm an artist, but I haven't sold anything
[MartAnimE]: does he know you?
[Bulmafox]: He said he hasn't sold anything either, except pizza lol

[Bulmafox]: But I* haven't drawn any landscapes or scenery or anything

Today I find they installed a new filtering system which authenticates your name and email address so that has me worried. |

My laptop is acting funny. Threw two blue screens over the past week (which it never did before), froze over today, and then powered off without warning. It was blinking with the LEDs but I didn't know that it was an error code, so I didn't count. Had it disassembled and vacuumed, just in case, gonna keep an eye on it... Would be sad if it's gonna die on me now, in the midst of a move where I have no other way to access the net and nothing else to do at home (except packing stuff, which is a bore). |

Update: My laptop died soon after I posted that. Just started blue screening on me and refused to boot up. Judging by the blinking LEDs, it's either a memory or a BIOS problem (the damn things blinked twice after some crashes but trice after the others). I got my office laptop from work, gonna be using it for now, at least until I've backed up the data (my last backup was two weeks ago, so nothing serious would be lost), flashed the BIOS, and replaced the RAM... |
