Noir Pockectwatch

http://home.clara.net/mdearden/watch.htm

 Say, did anyone here actually managed to get this? I've heard there were very few of them, so anyone who has one might consider themselves really, really lucky! I so wanted it!!! ^^; I saw one once, for auction on ebay, people were actually bidding for it very fiercely... but it was way too expensive and I didn't have money at the time... Now I can hardly find any decent pictures of it on the net... I guess I just lost my chance, I'll never see it again! T_T DAMN :(

A poster on the old forum bought one for a ridiculous amount, but I don't remember who. I do remember a time when people complained the watches cost $50 at a con...  :shock:

But the watch is not accurate at all. Even the position of the seconds dial is wrong. ::sour grapes::

I did buy a real mechanical pocketwatch though.

Hey, nice watch FacelessMinion! Just out of curiosity, how's the picture on the front? Does it resemble noir's watch in any way?

It has a little glass window with hour marks in roman numerals on the front. This is not as cool as naked noir statues, but it allows me to see the time without opening the watch, which is nice in its own way.

The "official" Noir watches did not play music. I haven't heard of a music-playing version.

Aside from that, try japanese versions of ebay

heh I was actually expecting, as I created this topic, that someone who owned the watch would eventually show up and, if that person would not be interested on selling it (which I'm sure wouldn't :p ), said person would at least be kind enough to show it off here for our miserable delight. ^^;

 Oh well... japanese ebay you say, FacelessMinion? Gotta start looking for it there... :p

Maybe one of us can buy a similar pocketwatch, transfer the Noir design to the front, and rig it to play Melodie upon opening?
Am I supposed to just walk up to someone and say 'Hello. My name's Kirika. I kill people in my spare time'?

Taco taco tacosu has a whole new meaning now. Thanks, Kakashi.

Noir it is a name of an ancient fate two maidens that govern death the peace of the newly born their black hands protect

Les Soldats: "There is darkness all around you"

Mireille: "Yes and that's why we continue to seek the light"
